Refund policy

At Tallow & Moss Co., each jar is handcrafted in small batches with fresh, natural ingredients. Because of this, please review the following policy carefully before placing your order.

All Sales Are Final

We are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or order modifications once an order has been placed. This includes combining orders, updating shipping addresses, or making substitutions.

Order Issues

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or does not arrive at all, please contact us at Tallowmossco@gmail.com within 30 days of your order date so we can assist you. After 30 days, we are no longer able to provide replacements or refunds.

Refund Restrictions

Refunds are very limited and issued only in cases of error on our end. Because our products are freshly made and cannot be resold, we cannot accept returned items. Please note:

  • Only one discount code may be used per order. Discounts cannot be combined.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Allergies & Ingredients

We provide a full ingredient list for every product on our website. Please read carefully before purchasing to ensure there are no allergens for you.

  • Always perform a patch test before applying a new product.

  • If using multiple products, introduce them one at a time.

  • If irritation occurs, discontinue use, wait at least one week, and patch test again before reintroducing.  Tallow & Moss Co. cannot be held responsible for skin reactions or sensitivities.

Handcrafted Variations

Because our products are completely natural and made by hand, variations in scent, texture, or color will occur. Refunds or returns cannot be issued for personal dislike of these natural differences.

Storage & Care

Our tallows are made without preservatives, additives, or fillers. To keep them fresh:

  • Store in a cool, dry place.

  • Avoid introducing water into the container.

Warm Weather & Shipping

During warmer months, creams and butters may soften or melt in transit.

  • By purchasing, you agree that refunds will not be issued for texture changes due to heat.

  • If your product arrives melted, place it upright in a cool spot or refrigerator until firm. The quality and benefits remain the same, even if the texture looks different.
